CSDNR Parent Survey

Introduction

City School District of New Rochelle
Special Education Program Review
Survey of Parents of Students with IEPs

The City School District of New Rochelle (CSDNR) contracted with Public Consulting Group (PCG) to conduct a review of the district’s special education programming and services. PCG is seeking input from parents of students who have IEPs through an online survey.

Who should respond to this survey? Parents/guardians/caregivers of students currently receiving special education services in CSDNR are asked to complete this survey. This includes parents of students who have IEPs who previously attended a CSDNR school but currently attend an out of district school through either an agreement with the school district or parental preference. Your participation is completely voluntary.

How long will this survey take? This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

What is the purpose of this survey? The purpose of this survey is to seek parental input related to CSDNR’s special education program strengths and areas for improvement.

Will my responses be kept confidential? Yes, your answers will be confidential. Only the review team at PCG will have access to your individual responses. A summary of survey results will be included in the final report. No individual responses will be included. Identifiable information will not be provided to the district.

What if I have more than one child receiving special education services in CSDNR? Please complete a separate survey for each child.

Questions? If you have any issues accessing the survey, please contact Matthew Scott with PCG at mscott@pcgus.com. If you have any questions regarding the review, please contact Michele O’Bryan with CSDNR’s Department of Special and Alternative Education at mobryan@nredlearn.org.

Thank you for participating in this survey. Your participation in this process is important for the success of the review.
